Fall Sale 2025

Applications are now open for annual Fall sale! We are looking for artisans that use fire to make their original work! This is a one-day event held Saturday October 18th, 2025 at Shepard Garden & Arts Center, 3330 McKinley Blvd., Sacramento, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Both indoor (average size 8×8) and outdoor (average size 10×10) spaces are available at a first come, first serve basis until filled. Completed applications must be received by 5pm September 27th for consideration.

To be accepted into the sale we need: 1. A signed copy of BOTH completed application and articles of attention (even if emailed). 2. If you are new to our show, email 4 pictures (PDF or jpeg) of your recent work and 1 booth picture to the show coordinator Marina Cardenas at rinflower8@outlook.com 3. Articles of Attention SPG: Art by Fire Fall Sale 2025 | Shepard Garden & Arts Center

1. No blocking of Fire Exits: Must observe taped area on floor
2. Displays including egress must be included within your booth area (i.e. you can’t use another booth space to enter/exit through, set up your chairs, or access your display
3. No nails or tape in/on the walls: Must supply any vertical supports you may need.
4. Booth areas must be neat: linens to floor, no boxes/tubs showing.
5. No parking on the grass in vicinity of Shepard Garden & Arts Center
6. No late arrivals will be permitted: Participants must be completely set up 15 minutes prior to doors opening. Participants must be on premises 45 minutes prior to door opening or their assigned space will be moved to an extra or outdoor space if available and original space will be re-assigned to artist on wait list.
7. During set-up refrain from blocking other participants’ booth or space for prolonged periods of time.
8. Split booths only allowed with advanced permission of Shows Chair and for current members only. Each participant must submit separate application and Articles of Attention. Each participant must collect their own sales and have their own seller’s permit/tax id.
9. Vendors must have copy of your seller’s permit/tax id at booth during show
10. You must either collect appropriate sales tax or display a sign at your booth that sales tax is included in purchase.
11. If you cannot be packed up and out of your spot at the end of the show within the allotted time (1.5 hour) you are expected to alert the show coordinator as soon as you can, so we can get some assistance for you. Otherwise, there is a charge for overtime.
12. Be courteous to fellow vendors and customers at all times. No ‘hawking’ and no making sales outside your booth area, no excessive noise/loudness, no blocking access to other vendors booths, no ‘poaching’ customers. Report problems to Show Coordinator immediately.
13. By submitting an application, you agree that your items are handmade, original work made by you.
14. Do not break down your space before the show closes. It is disruptive to the participants that have last minute sales. It will affect your participation in future shows.
15. Failure to comply with any item will affect your participation in future shows. ABF reserves the right to refuse acceptance of anyone not complying with these Articles of Attention.

I, the undersigned hereby agree and shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless The Shepard Garden & Arts Center, the City of Sacramento, and SPG: Art By Fire, and/or their officers, agents, employees, or volunteers, from any liability for damage or claims of damage of property and/or personal injury, including death, which may arise from or be in any way connected with my participation in the SPG: Art By Fire Fall Sale.
